The year of the age-gap romantic comedy is about to continue on Netflix.
The streaming service has debuted the first trailer for "A Family Affair," the new rom-com in which Nicole Kidman, 56, and Zac Efron, 36, play romantic partners.
In the film, Joey King stars as a young woman who works as an assistant for a movie star, played by Efron, and discovers he has become romantically involved with her mom, played by Kidman. The trailer begins with King walking in on them in bed together before screaming, running into a wall and passing out.
The footage then cuts to a passionate love scene between Efron and Kidman. "I went a little crazy," Kidman's character says. "I'm allowed, right?" Later, the two are seen sharing a romantic dinner in a completely empty restaurant before King's character bemoans their "gross sexcapade thing" and declares that they're "not Jack and Rose" from "Titanic."

'A Family Affair' release date
"A Family Affair" will hit Netflix on June 28.
The film will arrive on Netflix this summer on the heels of the Prime Video romantic comedy "The Idea of You," which similarly depicted the relationship between a woman, in that case Anne Hathaway, and a famous younger man, played by Nicholas Galitzine.
Speaking to USA TODAY, Hathaway said she loved that the central relationship in "The Idea of You" provided "hope and this exploration that your life is yours and it's to be enjoyed by you, and only you know how it's going." She added, "Perhaps one of the signs of maturity is being able to define your life for yourself."
