Philadelphia police have arrested the man accused of smashing the back of a car with two young children inside and then waving a gun in their mother's face when she confronted him. The incident took place on Sunday night near Philadelphia's City Hall, according to the police.
Video footage from the incident showed a group of ATV, motorcycle and dirt bike riders surrounding a woman's car near Philadelphia's City Hall. CBS News reported that the incident occurred around 9 p.m. in the evening. In the video, a motorcyclist wearing a helmet is seen leaving his bike and jumping onto the back of the sedan, shattering the window. When the woman confronts him, he pulls out a gun and appears to wave it at her as she emerges from the car, before headbutting and pushing her.
The accused motorcyclist, Cody Heron, 26, has been charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief and possession of an instrument of crime, according to court documents. He is currently awaiting preliminary hearing.
Deputy Commissioner of the Philadelphia police Frank Vanore credited tips from the public and "outstanding detective work" in helping arrest Heron.

'Grateful'
The victim, a 23-year-old woman, told local media outlet WPVI-TV that she was making deliveries for UberEats with her 5-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son when she was first sideswiped near City Hall and argued with one of the bikers.
The victim said she was grateful that her children weren't hurt in the incident.
Footage captured by tourist
The incident was caught on camera by a tourist from Florida during a sightseeing tour on a double-decker bus.
"Got stuck in some traffic and I just started filming all of the bikers that are going through and then they get in an argument with a car," the tourist George Coloney told CBS News.
