Alexandra Madison and Jon Bouffard are speaking out about a personal tragedy.
The TikTokers—who rose to fame on the platform for their comedic skits as a husband-and-wife duo—shared that they have experienced a miscarriage six months after Alex became pregnant with son Leo Grey.
We are absolutely devastated to share the news that we lost our sweet baby boy this week," the couple wrote in a joint June 21 Instagram post. "There are no words that can truly capture the depth of this pain. Nothing can prepare you for this. Our hearts will never be the same."
Alexandra and Jon went on to address their baby directly, noting Alex "had the privilege of carrying" him "for 26 weeks" before adding, "We will carry you in our hearts for a lifetime."
They concluded, "Until we meet again, Leo Grey."
Alexandra first announced she was expecting her first child with Jon back in March, when she shared a video of herself taking a pregnancy test while on a work trip. One month later, the couple–who tied the knot in September 2019—revealed their baby's sex with a photo shoot of them eating cake decorated in blue frosting.
"It's a BOY!" Alexandra wrote in the caption of the April 30 Instagram. "Almost halfway there until we meet our little man!"
Following their heartbreaking loss, fellow creators offered an outpouring of support and well-wishes for the influencers.
"I love you and our new guardian angel," TikToker and close relative Kat Stickler commented under the post. "I love you and our new guardian angel. Here with you always through everything."
Lifestyle blogger Stella Howell added, "So heartbroken for you guys there are no words."
