The clock on Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is ticking.
The iteration battle royale game, published by Epic Games, introduced skins from "Family Guy" and rapper Eminem as well as new items and bases. Harmonix, the developers behind Rock Band, added a musical mode called Fortnite Festival featuring singer The Weeknd earlier this month.

Chapter 5 Season 2 is expected to launch March 8, 2024, according to Tech Radar.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season ends at 2 a.m. ET March 8 (11 p.m. PT March 7).
What's new since the "Big Bang Event"
In the game's main mode, Battle Royale, developers eased the visibility of Society Medallion icons and improved the visibility at night and at the edges of storms.
In the LEGO section of the game developers fixed a bug that caused players to lose items when going from below to above ground. The effect of snacks was also increased.
Developers removed the damage caused by falls in Fortnite Festival, telling players, "jump off all the balconies you’d like, rockstars."
